UNITED CAMPERVANS 50PC OFF 1 imageHalf Price Campervans for the Summer School Holidays.

This is a Travelscoop exclusive. Here’s the guts of the deal but head down to the form at the bottom of this page to get your booking underway. Once we’ve got your details we hand you on to the team at United Campervans and they’ll get right back to you to sort out your booking.

  • There’s 4 berth or 6 berth campers available on this deal.
  • Pick up in Christchurch from the 7th – 31st January – school holidays AND summer!!
  • It’s 50% off the normal rate – eg a 4 berth is normally $372 a day so on this deal it’s $186 a day. Bargain! You need to add $20 a day for insurance though (see below)
  • You’ve got to hire for a minimum of 7 days, but there’s no maximum.
  • There’s a $20 per day insurance premium to pay as well.
  • There’s an insurance excess bond of $1200. United just take your credit card details and a charge will only apply in the event of damage to the vehicle or 3rd party property. Don’t prang it and you’ll be fine. We think it’s better to know this stuff up front though.
  • Hire from Christchurch. Return to Christchurch or drop it off in Auckland.
  • This deal is for NZ residents only.
  • If you do decide to head north then United can help arrange your ferry bookings (the cost of the ferry ride is yours though.)
  • Subject to availability and the normal United Vehicle rental conditions apply.
  • If you’re in Auckland and wondering about the cost of getting to CHC – I just checked the Air NZ website and I can seats for $99 one way (I checked the 10th January.)
